Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a Contract Manager to provide contract review, drafting, and negotiation services across CWHS entities. The role covers clinical and non-clinical services and supplies, including situations where CWHS is the supplier.

You will update policies, analyze financial impact, and ensure compliance with laws and CWHS policies, coordinating with legal counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain; 4+ years in sourcing, procurement, contracting in healthcare.
• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Updating current policies and procedures related to the process.
• Reviews contract to understand CWHS requirements and capabilities. Determines financial impact and financial strategy for the agreement.
• Analyzes contract provisions to ensure compliance with laws and CWHS policies; determine need for a Business Associate Agreement.
• Suggests changes to mitigate unfavorable clauses.
• Reviews fair market value calculations for physician-related contracts.
• Collaborates with legal counsel and Chief Compliance Officer to identify issues and changes.
