Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College is seeking an Adjunct - Continuing Education Instructor in Healthcare to deliver non-credit classroom instruction and assess student progress toward goals. The role requires maintaining certifications per TCSG policy and may require travel within the service area.

Up to 29 hours/week, with compensation ranging from $35.00 to $50.00 per hour. Qualifications include an earned Associates Degree and at least three years in a business environment; preferred

Qualifications

• Must upload transcripts/certifications showing conferred degree(s) and qualifications.
• Earned an Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of experience in a business environment; degree may be substituted year-for-year with experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lesson plans and instructional materials for classroom use.
• Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives.
• Evaluates student progress toward goals and objectives.
• Requests and maintains supplies and equipment; prepares budget requests.
• Maintains program certification requirements and required documentation.
• Keeps knowledge current through in-service training and reading professional literature.
• Maintains a secure classroom environment and ensures safety in the training area.
• Completes trainings in a timely manner; performs other duties as assigned.
