Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix seeks an experienced Construction Project Management Consultant to oversee healthcare construction and renovation projects from planning to completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with hospital leadership, architects, contractors and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, engineering or related field.
Five years of progressive project management experience preferably in healthcare construction.
Ability to read blueprints, specs and contract documents; knowledge of codes and standards.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Direct project teams, architects and contractor activities and lead meetings.
Identify and address planning/design/construction issues to minimize operational disruption.
Develop project schedules and manage team members for timely completion.
Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets and track project expenditures.
Ensure safety, quality, code compliance and regulatory requirements on all projects.
Coordinate with hospital leadership, IT, facility directors and external partners.
