Job summary

Rogers-O'Brien Construction seeks an experienced Assistant Superintendent focused on healthcare projects in Houston, TX. You will work under a seasoned superintendent to learn and manage responsibilities in construction project management.

As part of an operations team, you’ll collaborate with the Superintendent and PM to ensure milestones are met, oversee subcontractor coordination, and uphold safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop comprehensive job plans for project execution.
• Strong organization to manage schedules and coordinate subs.
• Excellent communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure quality.
• Experience in healthcare construction and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to implement safety programs on-site.
• Familiarity with construction documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Superintendent and PM to develop schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors to establish performance schedules and deliveries.
• Supervise field operations and enforce safety protocols.
• Lead weekly schedule reviews and project meetings.
• Manage site logistics, staging, and cleanliness of the jobsite.
• Support QA plans to maintain high construction standards.
• Assist in pre-construction meetings to prep subcontractors.
