Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. seeks a dynamic General Contractor Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects from inception to completion across multiple providers.

The ideal candidate has a degree in construction management or engineering, 3–5+ years of experience in commercial ground-up healthcare projects, and strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and schedules. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years minimum of project management in commercial construction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel up to 30%.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project reporting software and blueprint reading.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manages project budgets, writes contracts, approves invoices and updates schedules.
• Coordinates among subcontractors and resolves issues or conflicts.
• Organizes, processes, and distributes project documents.
• Creates and maintains the project schedule.
• Expedites documents and deliveries to meet milestones.
• Maintains cost control data and prepares cost reports.
• Fosters long-term relationships with clients, architects and vendors.
• Develops short-interval schedules for weekly meetings.
• Monitors LEED requirements and project compliance.
• Oversees document control for shop drawings, submittals, and orders.
• Reviews shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Completes subcontractor payment processing.
• Attends meetings and records minutes.
• Writes weekly reports with superintendent notes.
• Manages close-out procedures and safety compliance.
