Job summary

gpac is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our Nashville team on fast-paced commercial healthcare projects such as hospital expansions and medical office buildings. You will work with the Lead Superintendent to oversee daily site operations and ensure safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires 2–5+ years on-site commercial construction experience, preferably healthcare related. Familiarity with Procore, blueprint reading, and building codes is a plus; OSHA 30 or ICRA certification

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of on-site commercial construction experience, healthcare experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore, blueprint reading, and building codes.
• OSHA 30 preferred; ICRA awareness or certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics.
• Enforce site safety and infection control protocols (ICRA / interim life safety measures).
• Assist in daily logging, quality inspections, and punch-list management.
• Coordinate material deliveries, staging, and trade sequencing.
• Resolve on-site field issues with the project team.
