Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Compliance and Privacy Manager in Irving, TX. The role will execute the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Work Plans, ensuring alignment with federal and state healthcare laws at CHRISTUS facilities.

Responsibilities include auditing, monitoring, gap analysis, risk assessment, and training delivery. The manager will stay current on laws, collaborate with IT security, coordinate audits, and guide incident investigations and resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, health care administration, or legal.
• Knowledge of healthcare legal/regulatory compliance practices.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rule, False Claims Act, Stark Law & Anti-kickback statutes.
• Working knowledge of hospital operation processes.
• Knowledge of audit and investigation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute the annual Compliance Work Plans under the Director.
• Audit and monitor units for regulatory compliance.
• Identify compliance/privacy gaps with business units and recommend improvements.
• Develop workflows and risk assessments to address gaps.
