Job summary

Toppenish Central Administration in Toppenish, WA seeks a Compliance Manager to lead a culture of compliance and privacy, ensuring adherence to healthcare laws and policies. You will guide audits, investigations, staff training, and privacy practices across the organization.

The role requires a healthcare-focused degree and experience in compliance program development, with CHC/CHPC within two years preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field required.
• Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) within two years of hire encouraged.
• Experience in developing compliance programs and educational materials.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance policies, standards and systems.
• Regulatory requirements experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent presentation and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a culture of compliance.
• Interpret laws, rules, regulations and standards; train associates to comply.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on staff training, quality and audits.
• Develop and conduct ongoing training and education programs for all employees.
• Plan and conduct investigations or audits to detect fraud and abuse.
• Identify and correct compliance issues; coordinate corrective actions.
• Communicate audit findings and educational needs; document actions.
• Analyze internal systems to ensure healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Work with leadership to manage local, state, and federal requirements.
• Develop, implement, maintain policies and procedures for the Compliance Program.
• Maintain effective compliance communications across the organization.
• Handle HIPAA privacy responsibilities; ensure PHI/PI protections.
• Develop privacy-related training and orientation; ensure ongoing education.
• Investigate privacy complaints and report to authorities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
