Job summary

Burrell-Behavioral-Health seeks an Integrity Specialist to audit and improve billing, coding, and documentation across behavioral and medical health services. You will identify risks, support corrective actions, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to promote compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in health information fields.
• Certification in RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/COC/CPCA or equivalent within 6 months.
• 1–3 years in healthcare compliance, auditing, coding, or billing preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of medical records, billing, coding, and documentation for compliance.
• Investigate overpayments, billing concerns, and compliance risks identified in audits.
• Develop audit work plans and tools addressing prioritized risks.
• Collaborate with leadership, clinical teams, and operations to resolve issues.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, and corrective actions.
