Job summary

S:US is seeking a Compliance Specialist within the QA department to develop regulatory compliance strategies, provide technical staff support, and conduct targeted reviews, internal audits, and investigations. The position is based at 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10018 and requires travel across boroughs as needed.

The role emphasizes drafting reports, recommending corrective actions, and collaborating with senior leaders to strengthen internal controls and compliance posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree: Required with minimum of two years in healthcare or nonprofit field.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum of seven years experience in healthcare/non-profit.

Responsibilities

• Audit/Review: conduct Medicaid billing reviews and audit clinical documentation.
• Trainings: conduct compliance/documentation trainings and develop materials.
• Investigations: conduct regulatory/compliance investigations and draft reports.
• Support: provide technical assistance on documentation requirements and internal controls improvements.
• Attend inter-departmental and external meetings to ensure regulatory compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Master’s Degree preferred
