FlexStaff is seeking a Compliance Auditor to support a nonprofit home healthcare client in the New York metropolitan area. This is a 13-week temporary contract with the potential to convert to permanent employment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch. The role focuses on performing internal and external auditing for the Compliance Department, including risk assessments, audits, documentation, and remediation tracking across NYC, Westchester, and Long Island,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as required for healthcare auditing roles.
• Minimum of three (3) years Healthcare Audit background, preferably in a Health Insurance Plan.
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support enterprise-wide risk assessments and the annual compliance audit plan.
• Develop and perform risk-based audits to assess regulatory, contractual, and governmental compliance.
• Document findings, identify root causes, and present results with supporting evidence.
• Partner with leadership on corrective action plans and track remediation efforts.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations while providing guidance to stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits across NYC, Westchester, and Long Island.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to support audits, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
• Perform additional compliance-related duties as assigned.
