Job summary

Stout seeks an Associate for its healthcare-focused practice to support compensation valuation analyses for healthcare organizations nationwide. You will work closely with senior professionals, clients, and project teams on physician and provider compensation arrangements and other healthcare transactions.

This role focuses on valuation and documentation, not business valuation, and candidates should be located in Denver or Dallas or relocate accordingly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, healthcare administration or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Experience supporting projects and client relationships in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute valuation engagements involving healthcare compensation arrangements, including on-call coverage and employment agreements.
• Apply valuation methodologies (cost, market, income) based on engagement facts.
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial and market data to support conclusions.
• Build and review financial models, market analyses, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare clear written reports and engagement documentation meeting quality standards.
• Communicate with clients and project teams to gather information and resolve items.
• Identify regulatory considerations, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Manage workstreams across multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Support and review the work of analysts and interns.
• Collaborate across offices to deliver coordinated client solutions.
• Contribute to proposals, research, and practice development initiatives.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance research and delivery efficiency.
