Job summary

Stout is seeking an Associate in our Healthcare Compensation Valuation practice to support valuation analyses for healthcare providers nationwide. You will work with senior professionals, collect financial data, build models, and prepare detailed engagement documentation.

Responsibilities include applying valuation methods, analyzing data, and communicating findings to clients. The role emphasizes regulatory awareness, multiple concurrent projects, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two to four years in compensation valuation or healthcare advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or healthcare administration.
• Experience supporting projects and client relationships in a professional services environment.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills, with ability to analyze large data sets.
• Familiarity with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute is a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute valuation engagements involving healthcare compensation arrangements and related contracts.
• Apply valuation methodologies (cost, market, income) based on project facts.
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial, operational, and market data.
• Build and review financial models and market analyses using Excel.
• Prepare clear, well-supported written reports and engagement documentation.
• Communicate with clients and project teams to clarify assumptions and items.
• Identify regulatory considerations and address open items throughout engagements.
• Manage multiple workstreams across engagements and assist junior staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver coordinated client solutions.
• Contribute to proposals, research, publications, and practice development.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance research and deliverables.
