Job summary

Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital in Reno, NV seeks a Marketing/Business Development professional to build community partnerships, develop campaigns, and expand market reach. You will represent the hospital at public events, conduct market research, and support strategic growth while upholding high ethics and patient‑centered service.

The role requires a blend of communications expertise, project management, and stakeholder engagement across clinical and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in community development, public relations/corporate and crisis communications.
• Proven track record of developing and evaluating effective marketing campaigns.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License
• Valid car insurance
• Familiarity with continuum of care and clinical terminology
• BLS/CPR training (renew every 2 years) for direct patient care staff
• CPI training for all staff; yearly retraining
• Occasional nights and weekends required

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing plans to ensure profit growth and expansion of the hospital's products/services.
• Support facilities as liaison with external entities influencing services and facilities.
• Maintain relationships and secure competitive information to grow market share.
• Execute communication strategies and materials consistent with the hospital's image.
• Consult with Director of Business Development to maintain a consistent public image.
• Represent the organization at major public events.
• Support the organization's strategic business development efforts.
• Embrace the organization's public relations efforts.
• Conduct market research, analysis, and reporting relevant to the hospital's mission.
• Uphold ethics and customer service standards.
• Participate in activities for professional growth and development.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required.
