Job summary

Edelman is seeking an Account Executive to join our U.S. Health team, supporting communications programs for a leading global pharmaceutical client. The role emphasizes writing, organization, cross-team collaboration, and translating healthcare stories into clear materials.

Candidate should have strong writing and PR fundamentals; healthcare interest is a plus. Prior healthcare/pharma experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in public relations, communications, public affairs, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Draft, edit, and adapt client materials including press releases, messages, and briefing documents.
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, reviews, and client communications.
Support development of project briefs and collaborate with creative, digital, and other teams.
Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and track action items.
Translate complex healthcare information into clear, engaging communications for diverse audiences.
Maintain accurate reporting and project documentation across multiple workstreams.
