Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient accounts and outstanding balances to identify delinquent payments.
• Contact patients, insurance providers, and third-party payers to collect overdue payments and resolve billing issues.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment agreements, and communications in the billing system.
• Collaborate with billing, finance, and patient services teams to address discrepancies and improve collection processes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, privacy regulations, and ethical standards during all collection activities.
• Prepare regular reports on collection status, trends, and challenges for management review.
