Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a training specialist to develop and deliver education programs for clinical and administrative staff. You will plan curricula, prepare pamphlets and presentations, and evaluate training effectiveness to improve clinical processes.

The role requires collaboration with multiple departments, adherence to regulatory standards, and ongoing updates to training materials based on best practices and feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related field is required.
• 2 years of relevant experience related experience.
• Certifications in health information management or coding are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing training materials and provides training.
• Plans and develops course or training program content and presentations.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and updates course materials.
• Maintains orientation/in-service records, course completions, and attendance logs.
• Collaborates with care teams to ensure continuity of services.
• Uses quality improvement and best-practice guidelines to evaluate processes.
• Participates in hospital and system-wide committees as needed.
• Ensures services meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
