Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience as Systems Administrator or similar role.
• 2+ years of Linux administration.
• Experience in cloud environments with Windows and Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with security focus.
• Understanding of regulatory considerations in healthcare IT (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: monitor and maintain system performance; perform updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Network Management: maintain network infrastructure and ensure security protocols are up to date.
• Data Security: implement and monitor security measures; conduct regular audits.
• User Support: provide technical support; respond to help-desk tickets and escalate when needed.
• Backup and Recovery: develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Documentation: create and maintain system configuration and troubleshooting docs.
