Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, the company is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients that would benefit through our outpatient clinic partnerships.

The Clinical Program Director is responsible for managing and strategically growing the Wound Care Program and other wound care continuum programs within the assigned area. This includes oversight of the Wound Care Center (WCC), daily operations, staff management, financial oversight, quality/performance improvement, community education, and clinical functions. The Director also maintains collaborative relationships within and outside the hospital and fosters effective working relationships between Healogics and the hospital.

All employees must adhere to Healogics policies, hospital policies, accreditation standards, federal and state regulations, and CMS guidelines, as applicable.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  1. Manages the Center’s Operations (20%)
    • Oversees day-to-day management of outpatient clinics and wound care programs.
    • Assesses and improves clinic workflows, processes, and procedures.
    • Ensures resource, supply, and equipment availability.
    • Facilitates effective communication within the program.
    • Prioritizes responsibilities and manages clinical and non-clinical staff.
    • Collaborates with healthcare providers and medical leadership.
  2. Manages staff and HR functions (5%)
    • Partners with HR for hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and staff development.
  3. Performs Financial Management (10%)
    • Coordinates revenue cycle management and reimbursement updates.
    • Reviews financial reports, tracks revenues, and manages costs.
    • Works with support teams for financial reviews and reporting.
  4. Manages Community Education/Marketing (20%)
    • Develops and executes marketing strategies with hospital and Healogics teams.
    • Builds referral relationships with physician practices.
    • Maintains CRM records of physician interactions.
  5. Manages Quality/Performance Improvement (10%)
    • Implements and monitors performance improvement initiatives.
    • Participates in hospital committees and ensures documentation and compliance.
  6. Manages Clinical Functions (20%)
    • Coordinates clinical activities and supervises clinical staff.
    • Serves as case manager and performs hyperbaric duties as trained.
  7. Builds Relationships (15%)
    • Maintains strong relationships with hospital and program staff.
    • Participates in hospital management meetings and promotes customer service.
  8. Performs Other Duties as Required
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred; or Associate’s degree with relevant experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight.
Physical and Work Environment:
  • Stationary position, computer use, lifting up to 75 pounds, travel required.
  • Indoor, patient care, and exposure to hazards environment.

Salary range: $84,375 - $109,125 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
