Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Healthcare Clinic Patrol in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on safeguarding patients, visitors and staff while maintaining a visible security presence in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; driver’s license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions while reporting unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
