Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 2-4 years healthcare, business, or administrative experience; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education/experience may be considered.
• Master's degree or EHC administrative fellowship in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day operations of a defined area within The Emory Clinic Section and coordinates activities to maintain an effective operating environment.
• Prepares operational reports and analyses; handles billing information submissions to the business office for maximum reimbursements; researches disallowances.
• Communicates with patients, families, and physicians; implements initiatives to improve patient satisfaction.
