Job summary

CHI St. Joseph’s Health of Park Rapids seeks an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized, protecting patients, visitors and staff.

You will perform routine cleaning, use specialized equipment, and follow proper disposal procedures for biohazards. You may refill soap and paper towel dispensers, deliver clean linens, and report maintenance needs to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all.

Qualifications

• No formal requirements at hire.
• Healthcare custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all department floors areas according to established standards.
• Maintain and clean all public area carpets or floors.
• Remove all trash, biohazards, soiled linen to designated areas for pickup.
• Maintain all grounds area by mowing or snow removal.
• Restock any and all supplies within department areas.
• Identifies and reports work orders to maintenance department.
