Job summary

CHI St. Joseph’s Health of Park Rapids is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized. You will perform routine cleaning like sweeping, mopping, and dusting, and use specialized equipment to further sanitize the facility.

You’ll learn proper disposal for biohazards, refill supplies, deliver clean linens, and report maintenance needs. A $2,000 sign-on incentive is available for eligible new hires to join our compassionate, safety‑minded

Qualifications

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Environmental Services Associate, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards.

Every day, you will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting. You will also use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility. This role requires you to learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects. You may also refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, as well as deliver clean linens.

• Maintain and clean all department floors areas according to establish standards
• Maintain and clean all public area carpets or floors
• Remove all trash, biohazards, soiled linen to designated areas for pickup
• Maintain all grounds area by mowing or snow removal
• Restock any and all supplies within department areas
• Identifies and reports work orders to maintenance department

We are offering a $2,000 sign‑on incentive to new hires who meet eligibility requirements.

Pay Range

$17.00 - $20.98 /hour
