Job summary

CHCP is seeking a career services specialist to help students and graduates secure roles in healthcare. You will manage a cohort of graduates, assist with job placement, and coach interview techniques, resume best practices, and workplace expectations.

You will develop plans to achieve employment goals, monitor externship placements, and help advertise to medical communities while ensuring compliance with state and accrediting requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to work in a high-powered, dynamic, energetic, and results-driven environment.
• Experience in employment staffing, career services, out-placement services, or sales.

Responsibilities

• Help students and graduates find employment in their healthcare field of study.
• Manage a population of graduates and assist with job placement in Allied Healthcare.
• Provide guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, and resume best practices.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve student and graduate employment goals.
• Meet or exceed department metrics including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly placement goals.
• Assist Directors with advertising, recruiting extern and placement sites, marketing to the medical community, and monitoring student progress during externship.
• Represent CHCP positively in the community.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and student orientation.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting rules and regulations.
• Build positive relationships with students to promote career services throughout their education.
