Helms College in Macon, GA seeks an dedicated Career Fundamentals Adjunct Faculty to deliver high-quality instruction for healthcare career preparation. Typical hours: 8:30am-3:00pm for Day courses and 5:30pm-10:30pm two evenings weekly.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, maintaining hands-on labs, providing feedback, and supporting student success while complying with accrediting standards and promoting campus events.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with a certificate, diploma, or degree.
• Three years of recent experience in a medical facility.
• Certified or registered, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Morning or evening availability two to three nights per week.
• Strong communication skills and passion for helping students.

Responsabilités

• Deliver instruction per the approved MSMA curriculum.
• Maintain classroom and clinical lab environments for hands-on learning.
• Provide regular feedback, guidance, and student support.
• Participate in campus events and student enrichment activities.
• Maintain attendance, grading, and student records.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability and Helms College mission.
• Ensure compliance with standards and accreditation.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support retention and completion.
