Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a project manager to coordinate design, construction and occupancy for capital projects in the healthcare environment, including the Hospital and Clinics for projects $100,000 and up. You will deliver projects on time and within budget and coordinate occupancy with other project participants and healthcare stakeholders, keeping patient safety as the top priority.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Construction Management or related field

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architecture Construction Management or related field.
Five years of related experience required.
Experience in Healthcare Construction preferred.
CHC certification by the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage design, construction and occupancy activities for capital projects ($100,000 and up) in the Healthcare environment including Hospital and Clinics.
Deliver projects under budget and on time and coordinate occupancy with other project participants and Healthcare stakeholders while maintaining Patient Safety as the top priority.
