Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking a Courier to continuously move supplies, mail, and materials between campuses and affiliates across Kansas City. You will travel between University Health campuses and affiliated locations, ensuring safe, timely transport and a high level of service to internal teams and patients.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving history, and the ability to work a 10:00 AM–6:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL Class B or CDL Class E for transporting patients or goods.
• At least one year of related transportation experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in the past three years.
• No DWI or DUI citations or convictions on driving record.
• Strong knowledge of Kansas City streets and surrounding communities.
• Ability to complete required drug testing.
• Ability to complete Body Mechanics and First Aid training.
• Ability to stay focused, alert, and professional while driving for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Hit the road and safely transport supplies, mail, materials, and other items between University Health campuses, offices, and affiliates.
• Navigate Kansas City and surrounding communities with confidence.
• Make sure deliveries arrive safely, accurately, and on time.
• Provide friendly, professional service to the people you meet along the way.
• Follow safe driving practices and University Health transportation procedures.
• Keep up with driving and transportation responsibilities throughout your full shift.
• Be a dependable link between the teams and locations that keep University Health running.
