• Verifiable High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or related work.
• Experience in healthcare reimbursement systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate billing for unbilled claims and outstanding balances, demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers.
• Work within multiple operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images and collect supporting information on claims.
• Conduct claims resolution to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices.
• Prioritize daily tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with LTC facility staff, pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, and patients to facilitate billing processes.
