The ideal candidate will manage resident accounts, billing, Medicaid/Medicare processes, accounts payable and reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent service to residents, families, staff, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a business office, accounting, billing, or financial role.
• Healthcare billing experience preferred, especially Medicare/Medicaid.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the facility business office.
• Maintain accurate resident financial records and billing.
• Prepare and process resident statements and billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with Medicaid/Medicare applications and related documentation.
• Coordinate payer information and maintain accurate records.
• Process payments, deposits, refunds, and adjustments per procedures.
• Maintain organized business office files and documentation.
