Job summary

SOUTHWEST HEALTHCARE CORPORATION is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to manage hospital AR processes and ensure accurate posting of payments and charges. You will verify deposits, enter CAH/RHC charges, process ERAs, and generate financial reports while coordinating with front desk and administration.

Required high school diploma and at least 2 years in bookkeeping or accounting; strong English literacy and attention to detail are essential to maintain accurate patient financial records

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices requested (2 years).
• Must be able to prepare financial and other records in a neat and legible manner.
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret accounting programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts receivable functions for hospital; daily/monthly/year end procedures.
• Post payments to journals and patient accounts; verify deposits on daily deposit tickets.
• Enter and merge charges for CAH & RHC billing (ER, Inpatient, Outpatients, LTC, etc.).
• Enter adjustments, write-offs and refunds per approval process and process ERAs.
• Create reports and outputs for financial review and assist with credit balance reviews.
• Assist with front desk as needed and support receptionists with scheduling and registrations.
