Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Billing experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn new software and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and organizing patient medical records
• Scan, upload, file, and retrieve documents
• Assist with employee and personnel records
• Support HR with onboarding paperwork and documentation
• Assist with payroll and timesheet review
• Assist with employee and patient scheduling
• Help verify that documentation is complete and properly filed
• Assist the billing department with data entry and administrative tasks
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients' families, and healthcare providers
• Enter and update information in agency software systems
• Track missing paperwork and follow up with appropriate staff
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed
