Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Madison, WI to gather, organize and present data to users. You will train users on BI software, produce basic and ad hoc reports, and support analytics systems across departments.

Responsibilities include delivering BI solutions, analyzing data needs, and ensuring system performance. Preferred experience with EPIC Clarity/Reporting Workbench and EMR familiarity is a plus, with full-time employment in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, or healthcare IT.
3 years in the analysis of business processes and interfaces including data flow/context diagramming.

Responsibilities

Develops business intelligence solutions through knowledge of user needs, appropriate data repositories, BI development best practices and innovative use of technologies and systems.
Delivers ad hoc data and report requests, analyzes data needs for both users and projects, investigates and analyzes data discrepancies, and assists in migration and testing activities.
Administers the analytics and reporting systems, monitors system performance, coordinates upgrades, tracks licenses, and creates and maintains user documentation.
Provides user/system support services.
Utilizes project management techniques for business intelligence projects and services.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
