Job summary

CHAS Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a data analytics professional to design, implement, and optimize dashboards and reports that empower clinical and administrative teams. You will collaborate with partners to translate needs into actionable analytics and maintain the data warehouse and BI reporting suite.

The role requires Tableau and Excel proficiency, strong data visualization experience, and the ability to communicate solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, CS, data analytics or related field preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• 3 years’ experience translating requirements into dashboards addressing service line needs; strong UX, data visualization, and information delivery practices.
• Tableau experience and proficiency in Excel required; working knowledge of analytic/report writing and data gathering in SQL/SSAS/SSIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data from a variety of software programs to design, construct, and analyze reports and dashboards based on the needs of the organization.
• Maintains relationships with business partners to offer proactive solutions and ensure data needs are met.
• Assists in maintaining finance and business intelligence data warehouse and reporting suite.
• Validates source data and end-user reports.
• Participates in CHAS Health collaborative and other special project teams as necessary and/or requested.
• Makes recommendations and reports findings to management and other staff based on continuing analysis of data.
• Assists in researching and creating new reporting solutions.
• Trains new employees on how to use existing reports and dashboards.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
