Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a bartender to interact with customers, prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, and maintain a clean service area. The role includes handling payments, stocking, and ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and procedures.

Responsibilities also cover opening/closing tasks, responding to menu questions, and providing excellent customer service in a health-system setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One year of bartending experience and/or training preferred.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Alcohol Awareness Training may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and mix/serve alcoholic beverages.
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area; stock bar.
• Operate a computerized cash register and handle payments.
• Follow state alcohol laws and company procedures.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and restocking as needed.
