Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance coverage and documents benefit maximums for home health services.
• Secures prior authorization from insurance companies and documents approval details in the EHR.
• Collaborates daily with branch staff, insurance companies, and patients to ensure a smooth authorization process.
• Addresses denials, discrepancies, and incomplete information promptly.
• Keeps abreast of changes in insurance, prior authorization requirements, and policies with contracted insurers.
