The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in medical audits, familiarity with revenue cycle, and strong Excel/Word skills. Education includes a high school diploma or GED; CPC preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CPC preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in revenue cycle and healthcare audits.
• Strong data analysis and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, summarize findings, and enter data into databases.
• Track data accuracy and timeliness per established guidelines.
• Compile data into reports to analyze trends for improvement.
• Ensure departments comply with payment guidelines and quality measures.
• Train clinicians and staff on protocols; present outcomes to teams.
• Coordinate problem resolution across relevant parties; follow through on action plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing data definitions and guidelines.
