The ideal candidate has a CPA license, 5+ years in public accounting, and experience managing healthcare audits. The position offers hybrid work in Western NY and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA License required.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience managing a team and performing external audits.
• Experience working with healthcare systems and hospitals.

Responsabilités

• Lead the engagement team in planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations for healthcare clients.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting.
• Provide supervision to staff, seniors and supervisors, with open communication to partners.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and advise on legal, regulatory and accounting issues.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and coordinate with teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and identify inefficiencies.
• Support professional development programs and training within the team.
