The Alden Network seeks an Audit and Compliance Analyst to join our on-site Chicago team. You will plan and perform audits across operational, financial, and compliance domains, test internal controls, and develop process documentation.

Strong data analytics, Excel skills, and a collaborative approach with department leaders are essential to identify improvements and ensure regulatory alignment. Requirements include 2+ years in finance, accounting, audit, or compliance, plus an undergraduate

Qualifications

• Action-oriented, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years of finance, accounting, audit, or compliance experience.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, information technology, MIS, or related field.
• CPA, CFA, or related professional license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational, compliance, and financial audits and reviews.
• Perform walkthroughs of processes and test design/effectiveness of internal controls.
• Create process and policy documents.
• Execute audit procedures per objectives and document work per standards.
• Prepare observations and recommendations for corrective action and documentation.
• Collaborate with department leaders on process improvements and control implementations.
