Job summary

Global Language Connections in Milwaukee is seeking experienced interpreters for 1099 contracting. You choose assignments that fit your schedule and travel between facilities as needed.

Fluent ASL and English required; NIC/CI/CT or equivalent certification preferred. Compensation ranges $45–$70 per hour, with flexible scheduling and a supportive operations team.

Qualifications

• ASL and English fluency required; healthcare interpreting preferred.
• National certification (NIC, CI/CT, or equivalent) preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel within the service area.
• HIPAA confidentiality and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret accurately between patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Complete encounter documentation as required.
• Respond to scheduling requests via GLC’s platform.
• Travel between facilities within the assigned market.
