JRJ Architects, an architecture firm focusing on healthcare architecture, seeks a Healthcare Architect for a full-time, in-person role in the Portland, OR metro area. The ideal candidate will lead design efforts from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with codes and client goals.

Candidate should have 5+ years of professional architecture experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and strong AutoCAD/Revit skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; 5+ years of professional architecture experience in commercial design.
• Regional Healthcare architecture experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent understanding of architectural principles and staying current with industry trends.
• Knowledge of building codes and AHJs; NFPA/FGI knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities; ability to guide design through construction.

Mansioni

• Research, plan, and create high quality designs by hand and in AutoCAD/Revit for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with project team to deliver functional, esthetically pleasing designs that meet client needs.
• Coordinate materials and products for project specifications.
• Oversee revisions, RFI’s, and submittals during construction as needed.
• Assist with site visits, progress reports, and documentation throughout project phases.
