Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our experienced AR team in Florida. The role focuses on private collections for multiple skilled nursing facilities and operates from the division office, in accordance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The candidate will bill Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, record cash receipts, and prepare bank deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Billing experience in healthcare preferred.
• Data entry experience preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care or similar accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all billing for Medicare, private insurance in a timely manner.
• Record cash receipts accurately and timely.
• Accurately prepare bank deposits.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information and follow policies.
