Levels I–III progressively increase responsibilities, including Medicaid/MCE/TPL processing, posting payments, and resolving payer discrepancies, with travel as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in data entry, preferably healthcare billing or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Familiarity with accounts receivable concepts; HIPAA compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Process Medicaid, MCEs, and Third Party Liability claims under supervision.
• Post payments from payers daily and reconcile discrepancies.
• Handle monthly Medicaid/MCE and TPL write-offs as directed.
• Follow up on payer discrepancies (MMIS voids, service errors).
• Alternate weekly billing duties and generate agency charges.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in continuous training.
• Maintain accurate billing records and support timely claim processing.
