Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a healthcare data analyst to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations for client projects. You will conduct market and payer research, collaborate with teams, and build models to guide contracting and utilization decisions.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and quantitative skills, with travel up to 10%. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, and you will translate analyses into clear client deliverables.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.5/4 or greater is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in biology, biochemistry, economics, finance, business, healthcare management and policy, history, molecular biology and genetics, psychology, neuroscience, public health, international relations, or related areas.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Proven team contributor.
• Willingness to travel (<10% on average).

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality strategic analysis using healthcare data to derive trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct primary qualitative and secondary quantitative research on markets, payers, physicians, patients, and competitive products.
• Participate in internal brainstorming sessions and collaborate with project teams to address client needs.
• Develop predictive models for contracting strategies, patient cost and affordability programs, prescriber/product utilization, and brand performance/financial modeling.
• Translate analyses into conclusions and client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
• Prepare for and participate in internal project team and client meetings; present analyses and answer questions.
• Apply quality-control tools and standards throughout projects.
• Manage time, deadlines, progress communication, challenges, and requests for guidance.
• Develop healthcare industry and consulting methodology expertise.
• Assist with recruiting and participate in interviews.
