Job summary

Highmark Health in California is seeking a Summer 2027 Evaluation Analytics Graduate Internship to gain hands-on experience applying analytical, statistical, and research methods to evaluate healthcare programs and outcomes. You'll work with researchers, analysts, and leaders to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

The program covers training in SAS and R, exposure to health services research, epidemiology, and program evaluation, and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a field aligned to analytics or health-related studies.
Pursuing a graduate degree full- or part-time in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clientele, and other stakeholders in planning assignments and problem resolution.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives and receive mentoring.
Undertake and participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
Participate in planning and implementing unit projects within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to objectives.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
