Job summary

Univera Healthcare in Buffalo, NY seeks a Business Consultant to partner with the health plan and clients, translating data into actionable insights that guide decision-making and improve care outcomes.

You will collaborate across Sales, Pharmacy, Medical Services and Workplace Wellness to create centralized reporting, align analytics with strategic goals, and drive cost savings while enhancing quality and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in healthcare analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Proven ability in strategic thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with analytical tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAS, Cognos Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise-wide trends and present insights to senior leadership and clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for consulting engagements.
• Coordinate unified strategies across departments to reduce healthcare costs.
• Promote reporting systems and dashboards to executives and end users.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new Business Consultants.
• Lead cross-functional teams on cost-reduction initiatives.
• Communicate organizational initiatives and their relevance to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices.
