Job summary

BRG is seeking a mid-to-senior level Managing Consultant to join BRG Healthcare Analytics. The role involves leading engagements, supervising staff, designing analyses and financial models, and delivering client-ready reports with strong communication.

You will work across healthcare clients and contribute to business development, applying advanced analytics in SQL or R and potentially Python/STATA/SAS. Based in a BRG office with hybrid travel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with a focus in quantitative analytics (accounting, finance, economics, information systems, mathematics) or related field;
• 6+ years of prior professional experience in data analytics; prior experience in healthcare/litigation consulting is highly preferred.
• Experience in disputes & investigations or healthcare research and/or analysis is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team environment, supervising and managing team members is required.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in SQL or R at an advanced level; Proficiency in Python, STATA, SAS is a plus; interest in training others is required.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
• Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
• Design and generate client deliverables and make valuable contributions to expert reports; manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate.
• Prioritize assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
• Participate in group practice meetings, contribute to business development initiatives and office functions such as staff training and recruiting.
• Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods and computer models to develop solutions.
