Job summary

Huron, a leading healthcare advisory firm, seeks an Associate for Healthcare Mid Revenue Cycle Analytics to lead project work streams and apply Huron approaches to improve financial and operational outcomes for health systems.

You will work on analytics-driven projects, design scalable analytics, and deliver client-ready insights across Service Capture, Clinical Documentation & Coding, and Managed Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience, preferably in healthcare or consulting.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in revenue cycle, reimbursement, or managed care.
• Strong SQL experience with ability to join across datasets.
• Experience with payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies (DRGs, IPPS, OPPS).
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute healthcare data analyses for mid-revenue cycle consulting.
• Apply analytical techniques across data sources to identify trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and ad-hoc querying on complex datasets.
• Extract and interpret data from Huron’s analytics platform to generate insights.
• Create dashboards and standardized reports to support client decisions.
• Present findings to stakeholders and executives.
• Contribute to developing new metrics and analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new technologies and improve processes.
• Deliver analytics-enabled solutions tailored to client needs.
