Job summary

The Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Torrance, CA is hiring an Admissions Director to lead patient admissions flow, referrals, and center sales initiatives. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating with families and referrers, and achieving census goals within a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on centers’ business needs, specifically incoming admissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage center admissions flow (referrals and admissions) and sign-in using PCC system.
• Coordinate tours and sales process with customers, families and referrers, either personally or through Admissions Designee.
• Ensure immediate response to CareLine, phone, fax, and walk-in inquiries and referrals, and notify relevant managers of barriers.
• Follow up on inquiries not yet converted to admissions.
• Identify, train, and schedule the Center Admissions Team.
• Ensure proper completion and distribution of paperwork per policy.
• Meet with families at admission and introduce to nursing staff.
• Document customer data in PCC for proper placement and coordination.
• Stay informed about medical, social, and financial Elder Care information.
• Support sales programs with hospitals and referral sources to improve admissions.
