Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems (VCUHS) Administrative Residency offers first year master's candidates hands-on administrative experience and exposure to current challenges in health care. Residents work on projects within a multi-disciplinary system and collaborate with leaders to develop leadership skills.

Participants gain experience through project-based work, partner with preceptors, and network with current and former Administrative Fellows across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and enrollment in an accredited Master's program in Health Care Administration.
• Ability to think independently, plan and make decisions.
• Communicate effectively including verbal and written communication.
• Facilitate groups and teams and promote organizational processes.
• Design and complete data analysis methodology accurately.
