The Hyndman Area Health Center is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support financial operations under the supervision of the Senior Accountant. You will perform routine accounting tasks, data entry, account reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting to maintain GAAP, HRSA, and federal grant compliance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within healthcare or nonprofit finance.

Formación

• Associates degree preferred in finance or accounting.
• Minimum two years accounting/bookkeeping experience in healthcare settings.
• Ability to travel to all locations and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Enter accounts payable invoices into the accounting system.
• Log front desk deposits, credit card payments, and mailed checks.
• Reconcile invoices and deposits using specified software and spreadsheets.
• Reconcile credit card statements and perform bank reconciliations.
• Audit 340B payments and insurance remits.
• Open and distribute mail; assist in budget preparation.
• Assist with grant documentation, budgets, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and corporate policies.
• Perform related work as assigned by Senior Accountant or CFO.
